Brendan Barry – Director of IC Development

Brendan Barry – joined Movidius as Director of IC Development in 2007. Brendan has over 19 years experience working in IC design and development.

Before joining Movidius, Brendan worked in Silicon & Software Systems (S3) as Project Manager and Staff Engineer. While at S3, he managed and contributed to over 20 ASIC’s in the Consumer and Telecoms markets, on behalf of large multi-nationals such as NXP,TI and Agere and stealth mode startups.

Prior to S3, Brendan worked in Teltec Ireland as a research assistant working on the hardware implementations of the then emerging video coding algorithms.

Brendan holds a bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering from Dublin City University (DCU).
