Bob Tait – Director of Marketing

Bob has over twenty years experience working in sales, distribution, marketing and product management roles across the semiconductor value chain.

Prior to Movidius, Bob was the Marketing Director of S3’s largest Business Unit, comprising over 100 Engineering staff, located in Ireland and the Czech Republic with responsibility for growing S3’s Mixed Signal IP business from its inception to a recognised global leader in the industry.

Previously he held the position of Product Marketing Director at Parthus Technologies (now part of Ceva) with responsibility for the company’s Bluetooth, GPS and Wireless LAN IP products portfolio until 2003.

Bob began his semiconductor career with Siemens Semiconductor (now Infineon/Qimonda) in the area of technical sales of DRAM and after ten years was Regional Manager for the semiconductor business in Ireland.

Bob graduated with BSc(Eng) from Trinity College Dublin in 1985 and received his MBA from The Open University in 2007.
